Tomorrow begins the $10,000 buyin WPT Championship here in Tunica. The structure for this event is great, with 90 minute levels, and an added 150/300 level that will allow us for alot of play in the deep to medium stacked range, which is great for me. Normally going into these events I'm nervous, but I am very confident. Since I wrote that I was looking to improve my play, I've been crushing the online games, and dominating the tournament fields. I'm not afraid to make the correct plays and pull the trigger on bluffs that I know are timed right. I will play slightly more aggressive than usual, and try to take advantage of the amateur players early. I will look to avoid big pots without monster hands, and hopefully chip up during the day.

But today I put up one of the best days online I've had in a very long time. Total winnings were about $6,500, and I was up as much as $8k at one point. It just seems like I'm seeing situations very clear, and my reads have been amazing. The only way I can describe it as if a lightbulb went off somewhere and spots that I used to have problems with are now clear as day.
